How to replace the Acousto-optic high voltage electroscope battery

Mar 13, 2019

Replace the battery by replacing the battery with the Acousto-optic high voltage electroscope and unscrew the upper cover of the electroscope. The combined high-voltage acousto-optic electroscope circuit works in the electronic automatic shutdown, and is always on standby for a long time. If there is a signal input, it will be turned off automatically, and the power will be automatically turned off. The power consumption is small, and there is no need to change the battery frequently.

Usually, when the combined high-voltage acousto-optic electroscope fails to emit sound and light signals, consider replacing the battery. In order to ensure the safety of the person and equipment, please conduct regular preventive tests according to the requirements of the electrical safety regulations. Visual inspection should be carried out before the preventive test. The combined high-voltage acousto-optic electroscope should be self-checked before the electroscope operation. The method is to press the self-test switch, and the electroscope should emit a continuous intermittent sound and light alarm signal.

The combined high-voltage acousto-optic electroscope is mainly used to test high-voltage electrical equipment with equipment ground voltage above 250V. At present, there are three types of illuminating, acousto-optic, and windmill types widely used. Generally, it consists of three parts: the detecting part, the insulating part and the handshake part. The insulating part refers to the part from the lower metal connecting screw of the indicator to the cover ring, and the handshake part refers to the part below the cover ring. The insulating portion and the handshake portion have different lengths depending on the voltage level.
